I can not express my grief on this day when I learn of Allison’s passing. She welcomed me into her home for some time so that I could learn English, and those moments spent in her company, with Poppy and Mateus, will remain engraved in my memory. I have fond memories of a deeply kind, funny and benevolent woman, always smiling, who helped me discover the beauty of her village and her country. I am just sorry I didn’t thank her more for all that.
Goodbye Ally, your loved ones will miss you enormously, but so will a little Parisian boy to whom you taught English and who will miss you for a long time.

In the sadness, I also feel great joy in knowing you are with the Lord and that I’ll see you again. You lived a life of inspiration-of generosity, hospitality, vitality, adventure and love.
