Cathy Treanor: A Life of Boundless Love

The world feels a little quieter and the light a bit dimmer as we say goodnight to Cathy Treanor. A woman of extraordinary warmth and vibrant spirit, Cathy was far more than just a presence in our lives; she was the heart of her family and a steadfast pillar of friendship to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Cathy’s legacy is defined by the deep, unwavering love she held for her family. As a mother, she was unparalleled. She was a source of constant strength and guidance for her daughter, Lucy, and her partner, Laura, and a proud, supportive force in the life of her son, Adam, and his wife, Claire. Her role as a mother was her greatest calling, and the bonds she forged with her children are a testament to her nurturing soul.

Adding to the joy was the arrival of her grandson, Finley.

Though his time with his “Nanna” was far too short, the love she felt for him was immense, and her spirit will undoubtedly continue to watch over him as he grows.

At the centre of Cathy’s world was her fantastic husband, Tony. Their partnership was built on mutual respect and a deep, enduring affection that served as an inspiration to those around them. Together, they navigated life’s journey, creating a home filled with laughter and kindness.

Beyond her family, Cathy was a “good friend to many.” She had a rare gift for making people feel seen and heard, offering a listening ear or a witty remark exactly when it was needed. Her friendships were not merely social connections; they were lifelong commitments.

We are missing you so much already, Cathy. While the grief of your absence is heavy, we find comfort in the beautiful memories you left behind. Your kindness, your laugh, and your devotion to those you loved will remain with us forever.

You were truly a wonderful person, and though you are gone from our sight, you will never be gone from our hearts.

Please if you could wear bright tops or darts shirts if you already have them EXCEPT JAMES WADE .

we also ask for no flowers but for donations

As all donations will go towards a defibrillator to be placed at Rosehill care home at Raleigh hill for the benefit of the surrounding area as Cathy was passionate about making this happen .

    Cathy
Family isn’t always the people who share your blood.
Sometimes, family is the ones who stayed. The ones who answered the late-night texts, checked in when nobody else did, stood beside you and your family in your hardest moments, and never made you feel alone.

Blood may make you related, but loyalty, love, and presence are what make someone truly family. The people who consistently showed up, supported you, and chose you even when they didn’t have to — those are your real family and you have always been and always be our family

I can’t believe we’ve had to loose you so soon. I will try my hardest to support Lucy and give her the strength she needs to live without you.
May you now rest in peace and live in our hearts always

    I love you ♥️♥️ xxxxx

Cath and I became firm friends over 40 years ago , we would see each other every week on a Friday for years, we went out drinking together and it cath Cath who introduced me to Cider!, our Children grew up together , over the years it became obvious that whenever I needed someone to talk to Cath was always there, nothing was ever too much trouble and she always put everyone else’s needs before her own, she had a heart of gold and I still cant believe I will never see her again , rest easy my beautiful friend…until we meet again… xxx :tealights:

Cathy it was an honour to have met you and had you as a manager. A lady with a huge heart and full of love. You made everyone feel welcome and at home around you. So so missed by many. I’m thankful every day for knowing you for the short time I did and am grateful that I had that opportunity to share with you just how much respect and admiration I had for you, and how my daughters had said how since working with you I was so much happier.
Rest well and party hard up there, you’re a beautiful beautiful soul. :candle: :candle:
