It was sad when I got a phone call from Rita Banks on Thursday about the sad news that brother John had passed away almost suddenly as the ambulance crew arrived and to no avail could not do anything, my dear brother was a lovely man in every way and we were in touch once or twice a week and sometimes a good half hour or more, always about times past and his great memories coming back to Lixnaw and Ballyheige and the cousins the Drurys and John mentioned on different occasions when dad brought him to the pub in Lixnaw and while dad was in the pub he used to bring him out pop and crisps, I feel so sad for Johns wife Gillian and daughter Charlotte and son Brendan and all the family members,God bless for now xx
