My darling Jelfster, no matter how many times I relive that day in my head I will never come to terms with it , you were snatched away so suddenly and without any warning😭. Your final words to me were “see you later love you lots “.
You taught me so much and showed me places I’ve never seen before and for that I’ll be eternally grateful , I’ll love you forever until we meet again , fly high like the free spirit you are xxxxxxxx :tealights:

Ever since the news of your passing I haven’t been the same, the reality of not ever seeing your face again in this lifetime is something that destroys me however it’s something I’m having to come to terms with. You were an extremely kind soul, a unique man and someone I admired deeply and looked up to, you were always known as the ‘crazy’ grandad who never believed he was getting older and we all knew you as our peterpan. The uncontrollable belly laughs and when you constantly came to see me and ate all my chocolate and even the little things like when you compared your huge thumbs to mine and dads its these things that are memories I deeply cherish and will forever. I hope your having the biggest party up there and drinking loads whilst enjoying your chocolate buttons and cheese and crackers looking down on us smiling. You always lit the room up with your crazy ideologies of the world and strong opinions but that was you and we will always remember you in those ways, I love you grandad I will raise a glass for you at new years, your gone to soon but never forgotten.♥️♥️♥️

You will be greatly missed as a true friend and someone who I could trust.
We’ve had many adventures and great times over the past thirty five years especially on the Mendip’s where we spent a lot of our time running and mountain biking.
I hope that when I pass you would have sorted out some great trails wherever you are so that we can carry on with our adventures.

To a truly great friend and companion.

    Russ, Carol & family.
