Every member of staff we came into contact with was super but Joel, in particular, was absolutely lovely. I highly recommend using Braddicks and Sherborne. They were so caring and respectful from the outset. At a time when I was going through so much trauma, they came to my house and took the time to explain how everything would work. They even came back a couple of days later and explained it all again for me. They were always at the end of a phone when needed, very professional and nothing was any trouble to them. They put everything in place for me and the funeral could not have gone any more smoothly and I was so impressed with them. They were superb.

I started arranging my mum’s funeral with another company that I was most unhappy with. I didn’t know if changing funeral directors was even possible and decided to speak to Braddicks and Sherborne in Ilfracombe. I knew I’d done the right thing straight away. Joel was reassuring, calm, kind and made everything alright . Joel was there to guide us and take away any concerns we had throughout the process. He was open to me choosing a celebrant he hadn’t previously worked with. He showed her every kindness too.

Joel was in contact often so we didn’t feel lost in the process. He spoke to us the day before the funeral to run through everything which really helped. We felt fully supported on the day . We could not have been in better hands.
